SSST’s Executive Director Emir Ganić and Head of SSST-University of Buckingham collaborations Adisa Memišević were invited to visit the British University in Georgia and attend the conference on the topic of Transnational Education (TNE), organized by our long-term partner, @uniofbuckingham.
This was a great opportunity to meet other collaborative partners of the University of Buckingham, and learn more about their work, academic practices and professional services. The participants agreed to continue transnational communication and work on creating new opportunities in research, teaching practices, promotion and innovative educational programs.
On this occasion, Dr. Ganić got to share the idea that sparked the SSST-UB friendship, originating from the late Baroness Margaret Thatcher, then Chancellor of the University of Buckingham back in 2004. With nearly 20 years of our partnership, we are happy to share experiences and develop new academic practices with their youngest collaborative partner.
The host of the next Annual Partner Development Event will be the International Business School of Budapest, Hungary and the conference is scheduled to take place in 2023.
